Hosts Closing Party

What:
Join Richmond neighbors and friends, Library staff and city officials for a celebratory closing party for the Richmond/Senator Milton Marks Branch Library.



When:
1–4 p.m.on Sunday, March 18


Where:
351 Ninth Ave. (at Clement). Enter at 10th Avenue entrance for festivities

Why:
The Richmond Branch Library will close March 18 for a much needed renovation as part of the Branch Library Improvement Program (BLIP). San Francisco voters approved a $105.9 million bond measure in November 2000 to upgrade the city’s branch library system. The branch is scheduled to reopen in early 2009.
