September 4-7, 2007
The completion of the former Technical Services area has been delayed another week with the target date now September 7th. The Information Services staff will be moving into their new staff workstations that day. The sorting function will move into the new fiction book stack area in order to close the whole 1st Stop & AV Center area for the final phase of the renovation. All fiction has moved to the 3rd floor and the remaining AV material and paperbacks on the 1st Floor have been boxed. A construction wall will be built on Monday, September 10th so new lighting, flooring and shelving can be installed.
All circulation activity will be centralized on the right side of the Atrium as you enter on Grove. New signs and staff will help in finding what you need.
