Temporary walls/barriers have been constructed in 1st Stop, information counter and check out counters. New floor coverings will begin to be installed in the new fiction book stack area. The sorting function is currently being performed in the new Genre area. Electricians will be installing new light fixtures in the ceilings on the first floor, fine tune new pendent lighting, and providing electricity for the relocated book detection system. Modifications to the HVAC system should be completed. Information desk and check out kiosks will be removed. Messages for new talking signs completed. Components for elevator #5 which will allow access to the new sorting area will be arriving.
