The renovation is almost complete. The opening day for the new Browsing/Fiction area with 11 Express, 18 Internet and 8 Online catalog stations and the new AV Center is coming soon. The viewing and listening stations will be available later in December. The new Information Desk will open next week. The full commissioning of the automated sorting equipment will also occur next week. In order for library staff to move collections from the 3rd floor and from the temporary AV Center on the 4th floor to the 1st floor some material will not be available for a short period of time. Signs will be posted in the affected areas. Final installation of the new computer stations and wood surrounds and lighting for the metal shelving is progressing along with final painting, patching and clean-up. There will continue to be some noise and disruption of service as we finish these last few weeks of the renovation.
