The 1st Floor Men’s Restroom will re-open this week with new paint, new lights, new tile, new partitions and increased air ventilation. Many projects are being completed this week to allow us to re-open the Borrower Services area the first week in July. These include: limestone flooring, carpet, new circulation desk & counter, self-return units, electrical & data connections, privacy walls, card key system & workstation installation.
The staff will begin moving to the renovated side starting June 25th after the installation of their computers & telephones by the library’s IT department. New work flows will be tested this week & the next to ready for the opening of the renovated side.
