Update:
July 16-20, 2007
The new multi-purpose circulation desk and registration
area will open on Monday, July 16th. The temporary location on
the other side of the atrium will remain open for book return
and other miscellaneous functions. Staff will be stationed in the
Atrium to direct you to the right location. Meanwhile, the old flooring
and workstations in the former Technical Services area have been removed.
Electrical and data work has begun. Offices have been demolished and a
new drywall will be installed to separate the new compact stacks from
the public area. Some glass work will begin including starting on the
new center door. The new fan on the roof will be connected to the whole
building system as well as the new plumbing equipment.
