Electrical, fire and HVAC systems upgrades are being worked on this week behind the scenes.
The biggest change that will happen on Thursday is the moving of most of the AV material to
the 4th Floor in the Music Center at the corner of Hyde and Fulton. During the move some AV
material may not be available. The temporary AV Center will open at 12 noon on Friday, January 26.
There will be 2 self check units at the door of the Center for patrons to check out their material
before leaving the floor. New self check units will also be placed near the elevators on Floors 3, 4 & 5, in the Children’s Room and on the 1st floor 4 new units will be installed. Also on Thursday, work will begin on the ceiling of the women’s restroom on the 1st Floor. During the next 2 months of renovations to that restroom intermittent closings will occur. Signs will be posted prior to the closing.
Other women’s restrooms are available on the Lower Level and the 3rd Floor.
