This presentation from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art features two iconic American artists, who shared a great appreciation of the Western landscape along with a lifelong friendship. It provides an opportunity to look at each artist’s individual works as well as a chance to compare and contrast their visions.It also touches on interesting aspects of their relationship and includes revealing video clips of each talking about their approach to making art.
