Located on the 2nd floor mezzanine directly accessible from the Larkin and Fulton Street entrances. The Volunteer Services Office is also located here.

Civil Service Commission:

 San Francisco Public Library operates within a merit system governed by the Civil Service Commission. The Civil Service Commission establishes rules and policies on public employment for City and County service. Detailed information is available on the Civil Service Commission Web site.

Department of Human Resources:

 The Department of Human Resources (DHR) implements Civil Service Commission rules, regulations and policies through, for example, the administration of the classification plan, examinations and certification from eligible lists for employment with the City and County of San Francisco.

DHR provides a Classification, Compensation, and Collective Bargaining Agreements online database (search by job title, salary, union, etc.).
