   The City Librarian will report on the following subjects: a California Library Association (CLA) Conference report; concerning the Excelsior Branch closure; a 2003/04 circulation statistics report; an Ocean View public art update; a budget update, Proposition 14 (State Library Bond Act) applications revisions; and Exhibits and programs.

   Presentation and discussion of and possible action to authorize the City Librarian to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the San Francisco Public Library and the Bayview Town Center.

   Presentation and discussion of an update report on the Main Library Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) Report related Main Library projects.

   Presentation and discussion of and possible action to approve a series of plaques chronicling the history of the San Francisco Public Library from its beginnings until the present and honoring those who made significant contributions to be located in the Larkin Street entrance of the Main Library.

10. DISCUSSIONFRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY REPORT
    (This item is to allow the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library to inform the Commission of their current and proposed activities.)

    (This item is to allow members of library labor organizations to report on employee matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)
