A regular meeting of the San Francisco Public Library Commission will be held as follows:

Date: Thursday, April 17, 2003 Time: 4:00 PM Place: Koret Auditorium, Main Library, lower level

The meeting will be called to order.

  1. ACTIONAPPROVAL OF THE MINUTES

    Presentation of, discussion of, and possible action to approve the Minutes of the regular Commission meeting of March 20, 2003.

  2. DISCUSSIONBOND PROGRAM BUDGET REVIEW

    Presentation on and discussion of the Branch Improvement Program Budget.

  3. ACTIONVISITACION VALLEY PURCHASE & SALE AGREEMENT

    Presentation of and discussion of a proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement for the new Visitacion Valley Branch Library.

  4. ACTIONRELOCATION STRATEGY REVIEW

    Presentation on and discussion of and possible action to approve revision of the policy for interim library services during the Branch Improvement Program, including discussion of alternative services for the Excelsior Branch Library.

  5. DISCUSSIONBOND PROGRAM MANAGER’S REPORT

    (This is a discussion item to allow the Branch Library Bond Program Manager to report on recent bond program related activities and make announcements.)

    This report will consist of an informational presentation: none; regular reports: program budget and schedule; active projects; and upcoming community outreach; and special reports; none.

  6. PUBLIC COMMENT

    (This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)
