- DISCUSSIONCITY LIBRARIAN’S REPORT

(This a discussion item is to allow the City Librarian to report on recent Library activities and make announcements)
This report will consist of an update on the library’s fine and fee schedule, a report on the
Public Library Directors Forum, an update on the POE Supplemental Appropriation, information on Sup. Leno’s
Resolution in support of the ALA’s lawsuit against the CIPA and legislation regarding limiting Internet filtering
on all city owned computers, and a report on site meetings.

Presentation and discussion of an update report on the status of the collection assessment project.
- DISCUSSIONFRIENDS AND FOUNDATION REPORT
(This item is to allow the Friends and Foundation of the San Francisco Public Library to inform the Commission of
their current and proposed activities.)
- DISCUSSIONUNION REPORT
(This item is to allow members of library labor organizations to report on employee matters within the Commission’s
purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s future consideration.)
- DISCUSSIONNEW BUSINESS
(This item is to allow Commissioners to introduce new agenda items for future consideration.)
- DISCUSSIONPUBLIC COMMENT
(This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as
well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s future consideration.)
