Youth Volunteers

Due to the ebb and flow of the Library’s needs, volunteer opportunities are ever-changing. Below is a list of ongoing opportunities. At the time you apply, you will receive a list of the current available opportunities at that time.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

• General Library Helper – General help around the Library and/or at special Library events.
• Homework Help Assistant – Works with school-aged children, generally during after school hours, answering homework and school-related topics.
• KidPower/ Summer Reading – Help sign kids up for the Summer Reading Program at the Library (This opportunity is only available June – August. Please contact your branch library for more information, or the Main Library’s Children’s Center beginning in May.) Do not complete the Youth Volunteer Application for this opportunity; your local library will have further instructions.
