Jeweler extraordinaire, Chelsee Robinson, will guide you in learning the latest techniques and applications.  Work with real stones, crystals, beads and more to create a beautiful necklace, bracelet or earrings.  All materials provided.  Space is limited.

Learn the basics of  knitting, or bring along a project you need help with. Each knitter receives personal help in a nurturing and relaxing environment.  Beginners, rusty, and social knitters welcome!

Drawing a portrait is a great skill to have. You will learn the measurements of the face, how to shade, and create likeness. Bring a photograph of yourself, friends, family or celebrity. We will use pencil and charcoal. This protrait will tell a story. Materials included. For teens, age 12 and older. Limit to 15 participants. Instructor: Cara Goldstein. Blue Jeans Bike Bag
GoGo Craft will show you how to take an old pair of jeans and transform them into a cool bag for your bike.  This bag is made entirely from items that you can find at any thrift store or in the back of your closet.  Biking not your thing?  Not a problem, turn your jeans into a shoulder bag.  Then learn how to decorate your bag with simple stamps that you can make yourself.  Bring your own pair of straight leg jeans and 2 belts, or use some of ours.  This workshop is for makers of any skill level. 
Ages 13 and up.

Mobile Movie Making!

In this workshop, teens will learn the craft of movie making and will make their own one minute movie using the skills they accquire. These skills include camera basics and composition, video pre-production and planning, video production, and editing. Teens will go home with their own self produced movie! All equipment provided.

GoGo Craft will show you how to make your very own customized tote bag that is perfect for carrying your library books or shopping at your local farmer’s market.  Appliqué a cotton tote with San Francisco images like the Golden Gate Bridge, cable car, or your favorite landmark.  Tote Bag provided.  This workshop is  for makers of any skill level ages 13 and up. Let's make some fun duct tape projects. In the 1st workshop on Friday, 7/12, you will make a Cup 'n' Ball Game with duct tape. In the 2nd workshop on Friday, 8/9, you will make a duct tape checkerboard. Materials provided. Limit to 12 participants. For teens & tweens, age 10 and older. An instructor from the Open Clay Project will teach some basic techniques for molding polymer clay using the ancient the Millefiori technique to make decorative patterns and designs that can then be shaped into beads, jewelry, buttons, tokens and figurines. Clay Animation Workshop with the Children's Creativity Museum
Have you ever wondered how to make your own clay animation? Students will learn the basics of stop-motion animation in this project-based workshop. Youth will design their own clay characters and then produce a short animated film using multimedia tools. Participants will have their animations emailed to them at the end of the workshop!
