Liam O'Brien, Bay Area lepidopterist and co-creator of the Green Hairstreak Project, will speak about easy ways to identify our 34 breeding species within the city plus important plants gardeners can grow to enhance these enchanting butterflies' life cycles. Folks from Nature in the City will also give updates on the Green Hairstreak restoration project. Copies of the group's field guide "The Butterflies of San Francisco" will be available for purchase.
