Listen to a reading of selected literature written and illustrated by notable African Americans while creating a collage that reveals your personal voice.
The Free Your Mind: A Revolution In Words Black Literary Festival is a culture-positive series of interactive events, programs and book clubs brought to you by the African American Interest Committee of the San Francisco Public Library. This Literary Festival will focus on a myriad of activities designed to engage, entertain and inform. The festival will culminate on Saturday March 2, 2013 with a day-long event at the Main Library (100 Larkin Street) featuring an author reception showcase , a genealogy lecture, a keynote address and a panel discussion.
