1.    PUBLIC COMMENT

(This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)

4. CITY LIBRARIAN’S REPORT by Luis Herrera                                       DISCUSSION

(This item is to allow the City Librarian to report on recent Library activities and make announcements).  The City Librarian will give updates on the following topics:  Citizenship Project Part 1; Branch Library Expanded Hours; Leadership Academy; and Play to Learn Installation.

5. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY REPORT                                      DISCUSSION

(This item is to allow the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library to inform the

Commission of their current and proposed activities.)

6. PARK BRANCH PROFILE                                                           DISCUSSION

(Presentation and discussion of the services and programs of the Park Branch).

7.  LABOR UNION REPORT                                                                       DISCUSSION

(This item is to allow representatives of library labor organizations to report on employee matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)
